The unique character of needles consists of a combination of two active substances, polycaprolactone PCL and polylactic acid PLLA.

How do PCL and PLLA threads work?

Polycaprolactone (PCL) and polylactic acid are synthetic polymers which, after a certain time, completely dissolve in the tissue. The idea of using PCL and PLLA threads in aesthetic treatments was born in Korea and quickly gained popularity worldwide. The procedure involves inserting threads under the skin (in selected areas) using a very thin needle. After introduction, the needle is removed and the skin is bandaged. The treatment used produces a specific scaffolding around which the body begins neocollagenesis (production of new collagen fibers), stimulation of fibroblasts to increased synthesis of elastin and synthesis of endogenous hyaluronic acid. The skin after treatment becomes elastic, tense, flexible.
