The product can be sterilised in a dry air atmosphere at 130 °C and in an autoclave in a compressed water vapour atmosphere at 126 °C. It can be washed and disinfected by commonly used means. The use of cleaning agents containing aldehydes, chlorine compounds or quaternary ammonium rules is permitted.
