Description of action
MedMelano BHA Solution is a saltic acid based flakes in a concentration of 0.45% (4500 ppm). Salicylic acid is a beta-hydroxylic acid (BHA) with lipophilic properties, so it penetrates the mouth of the hair follicles, dissolves the blackheads and removes excess sebum. At the same time, it exfoliates dead cells of the epidermis, smoothing the structure of the skin and levelling the color.
The unique component of the composition is the AstaCICATM complex connecting astaxanthin (glon extract) Haematococcus pluvialis) and Centella Asiatica. Astaxanthin inhibits inflammation mediators including TNF-α, COX-2 and MMP-1, which translates into a reduction of redness and irritation associated with imperfections. Centella Asiatica supplied in the form of leaf water supports the regeneration of the epidermis and strengthens the barrier of the skin, which is particularly important for reactive skin and after dermatological procedures.
The result of regular use is a gradual reduction in the number of imperfections and blackheads, narrowing of pores, reducing extra-flammatory discolorations, and improving the overall structure and shine of the skin.
