FILORGA SKIN-PREP AHA CLEANING GEL is a cleansing gel with a complex of five AHA acids, designed for mixed, greasy and contaminated skin. - Form: Face-washing gel
- Key assets: 5 AHA acid complex (gluconolactone, azelainic acid, glycolic, almond, citric), zinc, polysaccharides
- Indications: mixed skin, fatty, contaminated; open and closed blackheads; excessive sebum secretion
- Capacity: 150 ml
- Time of use: morning and evening
- Important: avoid contact with eyes
Description of action
FILORGA SKIN-PREP AHA CLEANING GEL combines the function of the daily cleansing agent with the microexfoliation effect. A complex of five AHA acids — gluconolactone, azelaic, glycolic, almond, and citric acid — accelerates the natural exfoliation of dead epidermis cells, supporting skin regeneration at each wash. This makes the skin surface smoother and the pores less clogged.
Zinc in the formula regulates the activity of sebaceous glands, which reduces excessive secretion of sebum — one of the main factors conducive to the formation of blackheads and shiny skin in zone T. Polysaccharides support the microexfoliation process, while at the same time creating a gel base that facilitates the smooth distribution of the product across the skin.
The formula is designed so that the acid action is adapted to everyday use — the gel washes with water and does not remain on the skin as a long-term application, reducing the risk of irritation typical of stronger acid preparations used in the form of serum or tonic.
To whom?
- Mixed skin — with T zone prone to overfatting and expanded pores
- Fat — with excessive sebum production and gloss all day
- Contaminated skin — prone to open and closed blackheads
- People looking for a daily cleaning agent with a mild exfoliative effect
- People who want to support epidermal regeneration without using separate chemical peeling in routine
Warnings: Avoid contact with eyes. If you get an eye gel, wash it thoroughly with water. The product contains AHA acids — if you use other strong exfoliating assets (e.g. high-concentrated acids in a serum or tonic), note the combined exposure of the skin to acids.
Key active ingredients
- Gluconolactone — AHA acid with a larger molecule than glycolic, exfoliates the epidermis mildly and exhibits antioxidant properties.
- Azelaic acid — reduces imperfections, acts against bacteria responsible for acne lesions and brightens extra-flammatory discoloration.
- Glycolic acid — the smallest molecular AHA acid effectively loosens the connections between dead epidermal cells and accelerates its exfoliation.
- Almond acid — AHA acid with a larger molecule, exfoliative and antibacterial, tolerated by skin prone to irritation better than glycolic acid.
- Citric acid — aids exfoliation and regulates the pH of the formula.
- Zinc ( Zinc gluconate) — regulates sebum secretion by sebaceous glands, supports the reduction of imperfection.
- Polysaccharides (alginate, pullulate) — they are microexfoliating and form a gel product structure to facilitate the application.
Usage
- Wet your face with water.
- Apply a small amount of gel to the moist face.
- Do a gentle massage with circular motions for several seconds.
- Wash the gel thoroughly with water.
- Use morning and evening as the first stage of care.
Frequently Asked Questions
In the morning or in the evening, use this gel?
The manufacturer recommends using SKIN-PREP AHA CLEANING GEL both in the morning and evening. Gel can be used as a fixed element of a double cleaning routine or as a stand-alone cleaning agent at both times of the day.
Is AHA acid gel suitable for daily washing?
Yes — the formula is adapted to everyday use in the morning and evening. AHA acids in the cleaning gel work for a short time in contact with the skin and are then washed with water, which significantly reduces the risk of irritation compared to the acids used in the leave-on products (cheeses, tonics).
Does this gel effectively remove makeup and SPF filter?
The product is a cleansing agent, however, when wearing waterproof makeup or creams with a high SPF filter, it is recommended to use a dedicated desmakija or cleansing oil earlier and then use this gel as a second step of washing (double cleaning method).
Can gel be applied to sensitive skin?
The product is intended for mixed, greasy and contaminated skin — it is not indicated as the first choice for reactive or vascular skin. If you have sensitive skin, perform a test on a small area of skin before regular use.
Can this gel be combined with other products containing AHA or BHA acids?
You can, but be careful. If your routine already contains a serum or tonic with AHA, BHA, or retinoid acids, note the combined skin load of exfoliating substances — especially in the case of skin prone to irritation. In case of doubt, consult a dermatologist or cosmetologist.
Is it necessary to use SPF using AHA acid gel?
Yes — AHA acids can increase skin sensitivity to UV radiation. Using products containing AHA acids in daily care, apply cream with SPF filter every morning, regardless of the season.
Does gel help with blackheads?
Yes, the product is directly indicated for open and closed blackheads. AHA acid complex exfoliates dead epidermis cells clogging the pores, and zinc reduces sebum secretion that favours the formation of blackheads.
Does the gel leave the feeling of cheating after washing?
The formula contains glycerol and other moisturizing ingredients (e.g. urea, trehalose, sodium hyaluronate), which reduces the drying effect typical for some products intended for fatty skin. Gel is designed to purify without unduly violating the hydrolipid barrier of the skin.
