Description of action
The foundation of KSURGERY SMOOTH Balance Mousse's action is salicylic acid — an ingredient with keratolytic properties that dissolves the keratinized epidermis on the surface of pores and inside them, facilitating the removal of sebum, impurities, and dead cells. As a result, pores become unclogged, and the tendency to form blackheads and breakouts is limited with every wash.
Niacinamide supports the regulation of sebum secretion and exhibits anti-inflammatory action, which is important for skin with active acne or inflammatory conditions. It is complemented by plant extracts — from pot marigold flowers and greater burdock root — which are traditionally used for their soothing properties and support of skin regeneration. The foam also contains potassium azeloyl diglycinate, a derivative of azelaic acid that has a balancing and soothing effect.
Despite its active composition, the foam does not deprive the skin of moisture — sodium hyaluronate binds water in the epidermis, and glycerin supports the maintenance of the moisture barrier. The effect of regular use is cleansed, matte skin without the feeling of dryness typical of aggressive cleansing products for oily skin.

Frequently asked questions
Is this foam suitable for sensitive skin?
The foam is intended primarily for oily, combination, and acne-prone skin. It contains salicylic acid, which may irritate very sensitive skin with daily use. If you have reactive skin, it's worth testing the product on a small area before regular use.
Can foams with salicylic acid be used daily?
Yes, cleansing foams with salicylic acid are formulated for daily use — the acid concentration in rinse-off products is lower than in toners or serums left on the skin. The product is intended for regular cleansing in the morning and/or evening.
Does this foam dry out the skin?
No — despite its active composition, the foam contains sodium hyaluronate and glycerin, which moisturize the skin during washing and counteract the tight feeling typical of strongly degreasing products for oily skin.
Does the foam effectively remove makeup and SPF?
The foam is a cleansing product for daily face washing, but when wearing waterproof makeup or cream SPF, it is recommended to first use a cleansing oil or milk (double cleansing method), and use the foam as the second cleansing step.
Can foams with salicylic acid be used during pregnancy?
The use of salicylic acid in rinse-off cosmetics during pregnancy is generally considered safe at low concentrations, but before introducing any acid product into your care routine during pregnancy or breastfeeding, consult a doctor or midwife.
Do I need to apply SPF after using this foam?
Salicylic acid may slightly increase the skin's sensitivity to UV radiation. Using an SPF cream in the morning is advisable as part of daily care — regardless of the cleansing products used.
How much product is enough for one wash?
The manufacturer recommends 3–4 doses of foam per wash. With this dosage, a 170 ml package should last for several weeks of regular, daily use.
Can the foam be used on the neck and décolletage?
The foam's formula does not limit its use exclusively to the face — it can be used on the neck and décolletage, especially if the skin in these areas shows similar characteristics (excess sebum, imperfections). Only the eye area should be avoided.
