Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner - Moisturizing Toner

This is a toner-essence with a very short ingredient list - seven items, and at the top is not water, but milk vetch root extract. The consistency is therefore thicker than a classic toner, closer to a light essence, and it visibly moisturizes more. It is intended for dehydrated and reactive skin that does not tolerate complex formulas well.

Seven ingredients in the entire formula

Pyunkang Yul Essence Toner has seven ingredients in its formula - just enough to bind water in the epidermis and give the product its texture. The base is milk vetch root extract, which replaces water here, and the rest consists of moisturizing and texture-giving substances: butylene glycol, hydroxyethylcellulose, carbomer, and arginine. There is no alcohol, no fragrance composition, and no dyes. The shorter the formula, the fewer substances that sensitive skin can react to.

Milk vetch instead of water at the top of the list

Milk vetch is a raw material well known in Korean skincare, valued for its ability to retain water in the epidermis. In this toner, it is responsible for most of the action because it forms the base of the formula, not an addition at the end of the ingredient list. After application, the skin is soft and not tight, even in winter with dry air. Arginine, the last ingredient in the formula, additionally softens the epidermis.

Thick consistency for hand application

The toner works well for layering, which is popular in Korean skincare - successive thin layers are applied until the skin stops absorbing them. The thick consistency means the product does not drip off the hands and can be spread directly with the fingers, without a cotton pad. On a daily basis, one layer is enough; for very dry skin, it is worth applying a second. Then apply serum and cream.

Directions for use

• Apply after cleansing the face, as the first step of your routine.
• Pour a small amount into your palm and spread evenly over the skin.
• For dry skin, apply a second layer once the first has absorbed.
